Creating a workplace culture that values respect and inclusion is a shared responsibility of both employers and employees. This interactive training session will assist participants to generate the awareness, dialogue and action to recognize and celebrate diversity so that everyone feels included and welcome in the workplace.

  • Inclusive Behaviour Checklist

Measuring Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this training, participants will understand:

  • What constitutes a respectful workplace and the importance of respect in the work environment;
  • How to communicate effectively and respectfully;
  • What constitutes inclusion and what happens when people do/don’t feel valued at work;
  • How our unconscious biases create preconceived ideas that can lead to exclusionary behaviour;
  • The benefits and best practices of inclusion in the workplace.

Program Delivery & Assessment Methods:

Pivot HR Services instructors continuously assess participants comprehension and ability to apply learning concepts through a combination of facilitation, interactive discussion, group work, case studies, and relevant real-world examples. Pre & Post learning self-evaluations are delivered to provide participants with a measure of their knowledge and skills gained from training. Following training, participants are encouraged to connect with instructors via phone and e-mail should they need assistance and have questions to follow.
